A civilian, known as Abu Khalil, who was displaced from a village which is administratively a part of Manbej city in the east of Aleppo governorate, was killed on April 14, 2021, in a random shooting by Syrian Democratic Forces at one of the SDF’s checkpoints on the outskirts of Ein al Arab city in the eastern suburbs of the governorate.
SNHR notes that the Syrian Democratic Forces have committed another violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, for which the perpetrator must be held accountable.
