The body of a man from Ataman town in the northern suburbs of Daraa governorate, named as Ibrahim al Masri, was discovered near the electricity corporation building in Daraa city on April 1, 2021, after he was reported missing the day before.
SNHR is unable to identify the party responsible for the killing, although the area is controlled by the Syrian regime. Despite the controlling forces bearing responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity, they have not launched any investigation, which increases the suspicion of their involvement in the killing.
