A man from Raqqa city, named as Hussein Abdul Rahim al Zaher, died on March 27, 2021, due to wounds inflicted on March 26, 2021, in a shooting by Syrian Democratic Forces personnel stationed at a checkpoint near al Baydaa Park in Raqqa city as he was passing by the checkpoint.
SNHR notes that the Syrian Democratic Forces have committed another violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, for which the perpetrator must be held accountable.
