Four civilians from the same family, including two children and a woman, who were displaced from Abu Makki village in the southern suburbs of Idlib governorate, were killed at around dawn on January 22, 2021, when a missile landed near their residence in Kazou neighborhood in Hama city. We believe the missile was fired by Syrian regime forces using a ground anti-aircraft system.
SNHR notes that the Syrian regime has committed a violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, for which the perpetrators must be held accountable.
