A girl, named as Yasmin Abdul Fattah Dgheim, who was displaced from Jarjanaz town in the eastern suburbs of Idlib governorate, died while her sister, Dalal, sustained burns on January 10, 2021, as a result of a fire caused by the explosion of a heater in a tent where the two girls were living with their family in ‘1’ Ard al Matar IDPs Camp one of Tal al Karama Camp Complex in the northern suburbs of Idlib governorate.
SNHR calls on international relief organizations to provide the camp’s residents with urgently needed essential provisions immediately and to provide the administration of the camp with a number of tents for emergency cases.
