A man originally from Talmennes town in the eastern suburbs of Idlib governorate, named as Tareq Murad Darfil, was shot dead on July 5, 2020, by a stray bullet of unknown origin in his home in Hazanou village in the governorate. SNHR has been unable to identify the party responsible for the man’s death up to the time of writing. Although the controlling forces bear responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity, the governing forces have not launched any investigation which increases the suspicion of their involvement in the man’s death.
