A car bomb of unknown origin exploded near a livestock market in Tal Halaf town which is administratively a part of Ras al Ein city in the northwestern suburbs of Hasaka governorate, resulted in partially damage in a number of shops and market’s facilities On June 6, 2020. SNHR is still trying to contact witnesses to obtain more details of the incident.

SNHR condemns all explosions which target civilians through indiscriminate killing and calls on the governing forces in each area to bear responsibility for protecting civilians in the areas under their control and conduct investigation and reveal their findings to the public. Stability will not be achieved in Syria without achieving a political transition toward democracy implemented according to a strict timetable.
