A young child, named as Ali Adnan Hammash, was severely injured when he was shot on May 17, 2020, by a Syrian regime sniper, with SNHR documenting that the child was shot whilst he was with his family on agricultural land near the military base of Regiment 46 which is affiliated with the Syrian regime.
Syrian regime forces have committed another violation in knowingly targeting and injuring a child in such a deliberate manner which does not distinguish between civilians and combatants.
