Hasan Jarawan al Msalmeh, from Daraa city, was arrested on May 6, 2020, by Syrian regime forces in al Sahari neighborhood in Daraa city. SNHR notes that the arrest was without a legal arrest warrant issued by a court where no one of his family was informed of his arrest and his phone was taken preventing him to contact with his family or a lawyer. SNHR is afraid that he will be exposed to torture and became a forced to disappeared person like 85 percent of the detainees. SNHR notes about 130,000 detainees are still detained in detention centers of Syrian regime which constitutes a real threat on their fates within the spread of COVID-19 epidemic.
