Mohammad Mustafa al Ammouri, a college student at Faculty of Medicine in Hama University*, from Kafr Zita city in Hama governorate northern suburbs, was arrested by Syrian regime forces in 2018, from his place in his university in Hama city. On April 8, 2019, we received information confirming his death due to torture in a detention center.
* According to the relatives of the victim, we have previously published that the victim’s name is Mohammad Mustafa al Ammouri and he is a college student at Faculty of Medicine in Hama University. But after follow- up and investigation we found out that the victim’s name is Mohammad Zaki al Ammouri and he is a college student at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Accordingly, the news was edited on April 28, 2019.
