On December 19, 2021 IDP camps in northwest Syria witnessed a rain storm that damaged a number of tents and displaced people’s properties in approximately 20 of the camps spread across the area.
SNHR notes that this rain storm was not the first in the area during the current winter, all of which forces the displaced people to face further difficulties, increasing their already great suffering.
SNHR calls on international relief organizations to provide the camps’ residents with urgently needed essential provisions immediately and to provide the camps’ administration with a number of tents for emergency cases.
