The body of a man from Jarablos city in the eastern suburbs of Aleppo governorate, named as Khamis al Abeid, was discovered by the Civil Defense team near al Hal al Jadid market in the city on May 17, 2021.
Although the SNHR is unable to identify the party responsible for the civilian’s killing, the area is controlled by the Syrian National Army. Despite the controlling forces bearing responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity, they have not launched any investigation which increases the suspicion of their involvement in the killing.
