A man from Khan Sheikhoun city in the southern suburbs of Idlib governorate, named as Ghassan Jdou’e al Sarmani, who worked as a grain trader, was abducted on April 21, 2021, by unidentified gunmen in al Beir Fouqani village which is administratively a part of Jarablos city in the eastern suburbs of Aleppo governorate and taken to an undisclosed location.
Although the SNHR is unable to identify the party responsible for the civilian’s abduction as of this writing, the area is controlled by the Syrian National Army, with SNHR condemning all abductions and arbitrary arrests.
