An agricultural engineer, Muhammad Yahya Tamer, who worked for the Foundation for Human Care and Development from Hafsarja village in the northwestern suburbs of Idlib governorate, was killed on March 18, 2021, while his wife was injured, crossfire from a clash between members of Hay’at Tahrir al Sham and an unidentified gunman in al Thalathin Street in Idlib city which is controlled by HTS.
SNHR has been unable to identify the party responsible for Muhammad’s death up to the time of writing, although the controlling forces bear responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity.
