The body of a man from Deir Ez-Zour city, named as Ibrahim Yasin Abdul Aziz, was discovered on February 9 by local families in Bolman bus station in the center of the city after he went missing on February 8, 2021, bearing signs of gunshot wounds.
SNHR is unable to identify the party responsible for the man’s killing, the area is controlled by the Syrian regime forces. Despite the controlling forces bearing responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity, they have not launched any investigation, which increases the suspicion of their involvement in the killing.
