A child from Aleppo governorate, named as Yousef Othman, died due to head wounds sustained in a random shooting by a member of the ninth brigade, which is affiliated with factions of the Armed Opposition, while the young boy was walking with his father along Villas Street in the middle of Afrin city in the northern suburbs of the governorate on September 19, 2020.
SNHR notes that factions of the Armed Opposition have committed a violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, for which the perpetrator must be held accountable.
