Mahmoud Bassam al Hamoud was shot dead on June 17, 2020, by a Syrian regime sniper while he was on the roof of his home in Ma’aret al Na’san village in the northern suburbs of Idlib governorate.
Syrian regime forces have committed a violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing and the perpetrator must be held accountable.
