Mahmoud Abdul Majid al Rahil, born in 1994, from Inkhel city in the northern suburbs of Daraa governorate, a former member of a faction of the armed opposition, was arrested on May 4, 2020, by members of state security forces affiliated with Syrian regime forces in Inkhel city, was taken to an undisclosed location and was tortured to death. On May 7, 2020, his corpse was handed over to his family with signs of torture from Tishreen Military Hospital in Damascus city. SNHR notes that Mahmoud was among people agreed a settlement earlier and he did not have any military status at the time of his arrest.
