Ayman Jalal al Hussein, from al Boukamal city in the eastern suburbs of Deir Ez-Zour suburbs, was arrested in April 2013, by Syrian regime forces. On February 29, 2020, SNHR received information confirming his death due to torture in detention center in Damascus city.
