Saeed Ali al Yatim al Meqdad, dissident conscript from Syrian regime forces and former footballer of Busra al Sham football Club, from Busra al Sham city in the eastern suburbs of Daraa governorate, was arrested in 2018, by Syrian regime forces as he handed over to them to agree on a settlement. On October 24, 2019, his family were informed that he is registered in Civil Registry as dead on September 16, 2019, probably due to torture in Seydnaya Military Prison in Damascus suburbs governorate.
