Ahmad Khaled al Dandal and Abdullah Hasan al Sheikh were arrested on February 22, 2019, by Self- Management forces (Kurdish Democratic Union Party- PKK branch) as they were passing a checkpoint in al Rhayyat village in Raqqa governorate northern suburbs and taken to an undisclosed location.
