A man, identified as Bashar Hassan al-Awwad from Manbij city in eastern rural Aleppo governorate was killed on March 27, 2025, by gunshot of unidentified source near al-Abbas School on the western outskirts of Manbij city. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not yet been able to identify who was responsible for Bashar’s death as of this writing. The controlling forces must uphold their responsibilities in identifying his killers.
