A boy, identified as two-and-a-half-year-old Adam Hassan Rustum from Um Qalaq village in eastern rural Hama governorate, died on March 4, 2025, of wounds caused by gunfire of unidentified source on the day before, March 3, 2025, in al-Mahrousa village in the rural areas of Misyaf city in western rural Hama governorate. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not yet been able to identify who was responsible for Adam’s death as of this writing. The controlling forces must uphold their responsibilities in identifying his killers.
