On February 23, 2025, Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) used two kamikaze drones to target the water processing station in southern al-Khafsa town in eastern rural Aleppo governorate, partially damaging the station’s main building. The area targeted is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) condemns this attack and holds SDF responsible for what happened. We call on them to launch an investigation into this incident and hold those responsible to account.
