A man, identified as Mohammad Jamal al-Yousef al-Qassoub from Kansafra village in southern rural Idlib governorate, was killed on February 22, 2025, by gunfire of unidentified source in Kansafra Camp in Kalbit village in northern rural Idlib governorate. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not yet been able to identify who was responsible for Mohammad’s death as of this writing. The controlling forces must uphold their responsibilities in identifying his killers.
