A man, identified as Thaer Abdou al-Taha from Babka village in western rural Aleppo governorate who worked as a guard for a fodder center, was shot dead on January 31, 2025, while on the job in Abu Thohour town in eastern rural Idlib governorate. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.
