A boy, identified as 14-year-old Zaid al-Khadri from Tareeq Aleppo neighborhood in Hama city, was killed on January 24, 2025, by gunfire of unidentified source in front of al-Ammouri Hospital in Hama city. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not yet been able to identify who was responsible for Zaid’s death as of this writing. The controlling forces must uphold their responsibilities in identifying his killers.
