Two civilians were shot and injured on January 18, 2025, by Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) personnel in al-Jarniya town in western rural Raqqa governorate. The area is under the control of SDF.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) notes that SDF has violated international human rights law by targeting civilians. The perpetrators must be held accountable.
