On December 4, 2024, the body of a man, identified as Hanan Mohammad Moshou from Qourt Qulaq village, administratively a part of Afrin city in northwestern Aleppo governorate, was found bearing gunshot wounds by locals in al-Ahdath district in northern Aleppo governorate. The area is under the control of the Syrian National Army (SNA).
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not yet been able to identify Hanan’s killers as of this writing, with the controlling forces bearing responsibility for identifying his killers.
