A man, identified as Qusay Awwad al-Nahhas from Ataman town in northern Daraa governorate who works as a driver transporting people and goods between Syria and Jordan, was abducted on May 9, 2024, by gunmen we have not yet been able to identify in Dael city in northern rural Daraa governorate. His current whereabouts are still unknown.
The area is under the control of Syrian regime forces. The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not yet been able to identify his abductors as of this writing. We condemn all abductions and arbitrary arrests.
