On November 16, 2023, the body of a man, identified as Mohammad Khaled Oyemer from Tafas city in western rural Daraa governorate, was found, bearing multiple gunshot wounds all over his body, by local residents near al-Mzayreeb town in western rural Daraa governorate.

The area is under the control of Syrian regime forces. The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not been able to identify Mohammad’s killers as of this writing. The controlling forces bear responsibility for identifying his killers.
