A 14-year-old boy, identified as Abdullah Qutaiba Shbat, was abducted on November 2, 2023, by gunmen we have not yet been able to identify while on his way to school in his home city of al-Sheikh Miskeen city in northern rural Daraa governorate. He was then taken to an undisclosed location.
The area is under the control of Syrian regime forces. The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not been able to identify the party responsible for his abduction as of this writing. We condemn all acts of abduction and arbitrary arrest.
