On September 3, 2023, the bodies of two men, identified as 30-year-old Faris al-Tou’ma, a Bedouin from al-Jisri village in eastern Daraa governorate, and 32-year-old Reda Matroud al-Zoura from Shnouan village in eastern rural Suwayda governorate, who both worked as livestock merchants, were found by local residents in eastern Msaifra town in eastern rural Daraa governorate, bearing gunshot wounds.
The area is under the control of Syrian regime forces. The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not been able to identify their killers as of this writing. The controlling forces bear responsibility for identifying and apprehending their killers.
