Hassan Emad al-Ghali, infant, died 12 hours after his birth on December 27, 2022, in al-Rukban IDPs camp in eastern Homs governorate due to lack of the proper post-natal care in the camp.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights has, on numerous occasions, shed light on the siege that has been imposed on the camp by Syrian regime forces for years, with regime forces preventing anyone from entering or leaving the camp, as well as the inhumane conditions at the camp.

SNHR urges international relief groups to act urgently to meet the basic needs of IDPs in camps, especially al-Rukban IDPs camp.
