Khaled Qasi al-Fandi, from al-Qouriya city in eastern Deir Ez-Zour governorate, was shot dead on December 15, 2022, by servicemen from the Syrian regime’s National Defense forces on al-Jesr Street in al-Ashara city, eastern suburbs of Deir Ez-Zour governorate.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights notes that, through this act of killing, Syrian regime forces have violated the international human rights law. The perpetrators must be held accountable.
