Kryem Hussein Ali, a 45-year-old Iraqi refugee, was found dead by Syrian Democratic Forces Internal Security personnel in Sector Four of al Hawl Camp for IDPs near al Hawl town in Hasaka governorate eastern suburbs on September 11, 2022. His body bore gunshot wounds. The camp is under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces.
SNHR has so far been unable to identify the party responsible for the crime, holding the controlling forces responsible for revealing the perpetrators’ identity.
