A 28-year-old civilian, fuel salesman from Jasem city in northwestern Daraa governorate, Muhammad Nidal Ibrahim al Hajji, was shot and killed on July 30, 2022 by unidentified gunmen in a street in the city, which is under the control of the Syrian regime forces.
SNHR is still trying to reach eyewitnesses for more details of the incident.
SNHR condemns all killings of civilians and calls on controlling forces to assume their responsibility for protecting the civilian population in areas under their control and to launch an investigation into this incident and reveal its conclusions to the public.
