A nine-year-old girl, Dina Abdul Wahab Shehada, was shot and killed on July 25, 2022 by Syrian Democratic Forces’ Rescue Force while she was in front of her family home in southern Manbej city in eastern Aleppo governorate, as the Rescue Force’s personnel were chasing a wanted individual in the city.
SNHR notes that the Syrian Democratic Forces have violated the international human rights law through this killing, and the perpetrators must be held accountable.
