A girl, Islam Muhammad Dalo, from Aleppo city, died on June 1, 2022 due to wounds sustained on February 2, 2022 after a land bombardment from an unknown source on al Bab city in the eastern suburbs of Aleppo governorate. The girl was comatose for a while before her death.
SNHR notes that the same attack on the city had killed eight civilians immediately.
SNHR is unable to identify the party responsible for the attack but considers it credible that either Syrian regime forces or the Syrian Democratic Forces were responsible for the bombing due to the source of the bombing. Investigations are still ongoing to identify the perpetrators.
