The body of Rojin Salman al Shahin Azzam, born in 2000, from Ariqa town in the western suburbs of Suwaida governorate, was found, bearing gunshot wounds, on the outskirts of the town on April 21, 2022.
While the area is under the control of Syrian regime forces, SNHR has yet been unable to identify the party responsible for the killings so far.

Although the controlling forces in the area bear responsibility for revealing the party responsible for the killing, these forces haven’t launched any investigation, which indicates they may be involved in this murder and similar incidents.
