The body of Mahmoud Hasan al Nazzal, a man from Koya village west of Daraa governorate, was found on farmland near Adwan village, also in western Daraa governorate, bearing gunshot wounds, on April 11, the day after he was abducted by unidentified gunmen near al Sharaja town in the same area.

The region is under the control of the Syrian regime forces. SNHR has so far been unable to identify the party responsible for the man’s murder.

Although the controlling forces in the area bear responsibility for revealing the party responsible for the killing, these forces haven’t launched any investigation, which indicates they may be involved in this murder and similar incidents.
