A man, identified as Ahmad Wajih Yazbak from al-Rayhaniya village (administratively a part of Hdeida subdistrict) in western rural Homs governorate, was shot dead on March 23, 2025, by unidentified gunmen who raided his shop in al-Rayhaniya village. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) is still trying to locate eyewitnesses to obtain more information about the incident.
