A man, identified as Bassel Abdullah Ali from Mazra’et al-Baq’a near Hmeimim town in rural Latakia governorate, was shot dead on March 20, 2025, by unidentified gunmen in Mazra’et al-Baq’a. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) is still trying to locate eyewitnesses to obtain more information about the incident.
