On March 2, 2025, four civilians, from Hyalin al-Ghab village in western rural Hama governorate, were shot and killed by unidentified gunmen from a passing motorbike in Hyalin al-Ghab village. Four others were also injured in the same shooting. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) is still trying to locate eyewitnesses to obtain more information about the incident.
We call on the controlling forces to uphold their responsibilities in protecting civilians in their areas, investigate this incident, and make the findings available to the public.
