On February 22, 2025, the dead body of Khaled al-Daqqaq from Hama city’s al-Hader neighborhood, was found bearing gunshot wounds by local residents in Masha al-Tayyar neighborhood on the outskirts of Hama city. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not yet been able to identify who is responsible for Khaled’s death as of this writing. The controlling forces must uphold their responsibilities in identifying his killers.
