A man, identified as Salma Ismail Ouda from Sukkara village in eastern rural Homs governorate, was shot dead on February 21, 2025, by unidentified gunmen on Rabab Street in Homs city’s al-Sabil neighborhood. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) is still trying to locate eyewitnesses to obtain more information about the incident.
