A man, identified as Mu’in Shafiq Rakab from Hadr village in northern rural Quneitra governorate, died on February 16, 2025, of wounds sustained two days earlier, February 14, 2025, when he was shot by unidentified gunmen near Beit Jen farm in western Rural Damascus governorate. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) is still trying to locate eyewitnesses to obtain more information about the incident.
