A boy, identified as 16-year-old Qusay Adnan Hassan Hamid al-Fazza from Theyban town in eastern rural Deir Ez-Zour governorate, was shot and killed by a Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) sniper near the river crossing in al-Tayyana town in eastern rural Deir Ez-Zour governorate. The area is under the control of SDF.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) notes that SDF has violated international human rights law through this act of killing. The perpetrators must be held accountable.
