Four killed, 11 injured, in a car bomb attack of unidentified source in E. Aleppo, February 1, 2025

On February 1, 2025, a car bomb of unidentified source was detonated in al-Rabeta Street in Manbij city’s western neighborhood in eastern rural Aleppo governorate. According to initial estimates, the blast killed four civilians, including two women and a girl, and injured 11 others, including five women and four children. A number of shops and houses were also partially destroyed in the blast. The area is under the control of the Syrian National Army (SNA).

The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) is still trying to locate eyewitnesses to obtain more information about the incident.
SNHR condemns all bombings targeting civilians and vital facilities. We call on the controlling forces to uphold their responsibilities for protecting civilians in their areas, to investigate this incident, and to make the findings of the investigation known to the public.
