A man, identified as Mohammad Hadi Osama Iz from Jdaidat al-Wadi town in western Rural Damascus governorate who was a university at Damascus University’s Faculty of Information Technology Engineering, was shot dead on January 30, 2025, by unidentified gunmen in his hometown. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.
